Sari makes a comeback in placement interviews at IIM-Ahmedabad - The Times of India: "AHMEDABAD: The sari is back on the campus of India's premier management school. The Indian ethnic wear has been recognised as a formal wear for business interviews held on the campus after a long hiatus, thanks to the efforts of the institute's first woman cultural representative in 52 years — Priyanshi Mathur.

The sari disappeared from placement interviews some years ago as more women students started wearing business suits, considering the convenience factor. They also wanted to present a more global image. Mathur asked the placement committee to recognise sari as formalwear and got the nod. "
