Indian gov't to look into ways to help Kingfisher - Yahoo! Finance: "NEW DELHI (AP) -- India's prime minister says his government will look into ways of helping cash-strapped Kingfisher Airlines Ltd. after the private carrier canceled 210 domestic flights last week.
The airline says it is not seeking a government bailout, and the aviation minister also says nothing of the sort is pending.
But part-owner Vijay Mallya this week questioned India's high landing tariffs and fuel taxes in a market already struggling from rising fuel costs, crushing price wars and an 11 percent drop in the value of the Indian rupee over the past year."
