The media is reporting that as the economic conditions have worsened, the McPalin team is going to drag the contest into deep muck and mud, and attack Obama on his past associations, and perhaps (wink wink) spread fear based on his race. The McPalin team should be put behind bars for displaying the worst of human character.

Even the WSJ is reporting about the hardships people are facing and the difficult job situation. In the article "Broad Job Losses Augur Recession Despite Bailout" it reports that according to the Labor department, the nation's total unemployment rate was 11% in September if the job-seekers who have stopped looking for work or who are working part-time when they would prefer full-time work are included. This 11% is up three percentage points from a year ago.
